Was-Med Clinic for manual therapy, rehabilitation and cryotherapy
WAS-MED is currently manual therapy, rehabilitation and cryotherapy clinic. Originally named the Centre for Massage and Manual Therapy, whose tradition dates back to 1992. In the first phase of activity, it operated as the cabinets of massage, physiotherapy and wellness.
At the beginning of year 1998, with increasing interest of patients from all over Poland, as well as with the rest of the world have expanded its treatments with laser therapy, physiotherapy and electro stimulation. The main specialty is our non-invasive treatment of diseases and pathological degenerations and post-traumatic pathologies of spine and shoulder, elbow, knee, hip lesions. We use laser therapy, massage and manual therapy. We treat patients of all ages, regardless of the degree of advancement of disease. In special cases, within the long-term cooperation, we consult patients with the Provincial Traumatic Hospital in Piekary Śląskie. The patients from the Czech Republic and Slovakia are consulted respectively in hospitals in Frydek-Mistek and Bojnice. In the Center's new building, in addition to existing services, we are pleased to offer our patients the extended renewal of the biological processes in the cryogenic chamber in temperature -170C as well as kynesitherapy, magneto therapy and rehabilitation.
