Cold laser therapy
Laser is the source of electromagnetic radiation that in particular is the radiation of visible light. The most important features of laser radiation are
- Cohesion
- Monochromacy
- Paralellness of bundle
The effect of low power laser radiation on human body aimed to stimulate its structures and functions is called biostimulation. The biostimulation has its effect even when the radiation is so small that does not trigger vibration of tissues higher than 0,1 – 0,5 degree .
The stimulating effect of laser radiation is seen by:
- Enlargement of blood vessels, easing of blood circulation, improvement of microcirculation and better restoration of swellings;
- Better recreation of cuticle and formation of granular tissue;
- Strengthening of tissues through the growth of collagen synthesis
Indications for the use of laser biostimulation:
- Rheumatology and orthopaedics
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Spinal arthritis
- Chronic pains
- Sudeck’s atrophy
- Pains during spinal disc herniation
- Sprains, dislocations, damages of chords
- Problematic adhesion of bones
- Damages of nerves
