COXARTHROSIS

COXARTHROSIS is a disease, affecting the hips. The pain is feeling deeply in the middle of groin. Initially it appears on movement of the joint, later - at rest (including during the night). The pain irradiates along the thigh and is located quite clearly in the knee. Later, the damage of the cartilage and deformation of joint surfaces, leads to shortening of the leg at the affected side. This, together with pain lead to limping, at the affected side and patients can walk with one or two canes, crutches and others.
