Classical massage is the most popular and depending on its type and intensity can be therapeutic, relaxing or stimulating. The classical massage covers all treatments designed for the improvement of psychophysical state of patient. It is applicable for the prevention and the treatment of numerous diseases from the scope of orthopaedics, neurology, paediatrics,  gynaecology and  general diseases.

Depending  on the patient’s individual situation the classical massage can be performed as a total or partial body treatment. The massage works analgesic, improves tissues nutrition, regenerates the muscles, controls the muscle tension, increases the flexibility and elasticity of muscles, reduces body fat, hastens the metabolism and  activates the flow of blood and lymph.

The classical massage is performed directly on the patient’s body with the means to facilitate such as massage oil, massage cream, talc or medicated ointment. The most traditional techniques of massage are rubbing, stroking, squeezing, moving, patting. During the massage body is relaxing, the tense and painful places are eased. The regular use of the massage improves the mood, adjusts the existing changes in the skeleton enhances the wellbeing, corrects the bones. The patients can feel less tension in the spine, back and neck. The classical massage improves the look of skin because it is better nourished afterwards.
